A CUSTOMISED PROGRAM FOR LEARNERS IN PRISONS

Our programmes are designed to meet participants where they are. Some participants need foundational confidence and self-awareness. Others need practical skills, job readiness, livelihood opportunities or continued support after release. Through a flexible and participant-centred approach, Beyond Bars helps participants learn, practise and prepare for life beyond the programme.

Our programme model follows a simple pathway: identify participants, build self-awareness, provide hands-on training, strengthen life skills, connect participants to mentors, and support reintegration through job readiness, referrals or market access opportunities

STEP ➊

Participant identification and programme planning with relevant partners

STEP ➋

Self-awareness, motivation and confidence-building activities

STEP ➌

Practical vocational training and hands-on learning.

STEP ➍

Life skills, financial literacy, communication and workplace readiness.

STEP ➎

Mentorship, counselling, job placement assistance and reintegration support where applicable.
